Ralph Joseph Youth Leadership Program/Selection of Class 27

Identifying and educating youth in basic leadership skills is the basis of the Ralph Joseph Youth Leadership Program beginning its 26th year in Lawrence County. Over 400 youth from across the County, representing all school districts have graduated from the program. Four representatives from each Lawrence County High School will be selected for the 16 participants of Class 27.

Application/Information packets, which include Ralph Joseph Youth Leadership Program application, brochure and a tentative schedule for 2021, will be emailed to Lawrence County High School Principals/Counselors March 4, 2021 (goal to be made available to students by March 5th). The completed applications are to be returned to the Principals or Counselors by Wednesday, March 17th, 2021.

Sophomore students currently attending a school in Lawrence County, with at least a 2.5 GPA, and who will be a junior during the 2021-2022 school year are eligible to apply. The RJYLP Class 27 will begin in August 2021 and conclude in November 2021.
